New Year, New Beginnings

Happy New Year, family & friends! It is hard to believe I’m approaching my third year in Ghana. Though it’s only been a month, it’s been an exciting start to the year already.

Enoch and I are so grateful to God for our special day! Despite the uncertainties of the pandemic, my family arrived in Ghana safely and celebrated our wedding with us. God is good…all the time!

I also had the opportunity to visit some or our ministry sites with CIM’s executive director, Rev. Isaac Quan (right) and board of director Tomson Chan (left). Here we are in the village Suburini with Pastor Ezekiel Gbande (center).

It is always such a blessing to meet with the CIM supported church planters and the communities. I am so encouraged by their dedication and the sacrifices made for the sake of making Christ known in their communities.

Meeting with the Guno chief in Northern Ghana. Pastor Thomas (center) is one of three of our pastors who is currently looking for sponsorship. Click here to read more information on how you or your church can partner with him in ministry.

Our pastors rely on their churches to support the work of their ministry. Some of the pastors oversee between four to twenty-three preaching points in their surrounding rural communities. Your financial contribution will help with their transportation and other ministry expenses.

I am so encouraged to see and hear stories of how God is working throughout Ghana. Ghanaians often respond to their circumstances with the statement, “By the Grace of God.” Truly, these pastors exemplify God’s grace abounding in their lives. I learn more from them each year and am inspired by their humility as they share the Good News of Christ in Ghana.

May God bless you this New Year,

Janice & Enoch Jabab
