Revival
Pastor Abraham Labeur and his family moved to Dama-Nkwanta in April to re-establish the ECG church. It was truly encouraging to fellowship with some of the church members as I could sense their eager desire for God. I believe God is at work reviving His people and mobilizing them to function the way the body of Christ is intended to through the power of the Holy Spirit; bearing spiritual fruit to glorify God. Praise God for the lives of His people across all the ECG churches!
Enoch and I also fellowshipped with the ECG Yeji church with Pastor Enoch Owusu at the beginning of September. Though I have often visited Yeji through the work of the Mission School, it was a pleasure to share the word of God with the church congregation on a Sunday morning with the adults. The students were on vacation at the time, but have since returned for their Basic Education Certificate Exam, in which the ECG Academy in Yeji have successfully graduated all their Form 3 students the past few years by the grace of God. Please keep our teachers, students and their families in your prayers.
Back in Nyankpala, the Music Department of our ECG church organized a 3-day Revival program in which some of our Tamale District pastors preached from Psalm 85 and Hosea 6. It was a powerful time of coming before the Lord, asking Him to do a new thing in all of our lives through His renewal. The Nyankpala ECG church mostly consists of University and Midwifery College students and it is so exciting to see these young leaders demonstrate such initiative in their own spiritual growth.
